My Approach

Led by the heart

I may not know your child yet, but I already accept them unconditionally. I love young people exactly as they are, and that’s why my decades-long work with teens and college students has been so successful.

When I coach your child, we begin an extraordinary relationship that will help them live a more purposeful, functional, and joyful life. Everything I do is grounded in my unconditional acceptance of them as whole people.

Every young person can solve their own problems given the right supports. My job is to help them get out of their own way.

Let's Connect

"Cat was the change I needed in school.  She was the first person who saw through my missing assignments. Cat taught me to lean into my strengths and helped me realize that having ADHD doesn't make me any less smart or capable. Thanks to her, I’m doing the best I have ever done in school."

Coaching, Mentoring, Education

Self-Esteem

Your child can develop a secure sense of self, maintain healthy relationships, and advocate for what they need at school.

Strengths

Your child can identify and develop their strengths and interests to ignite passion and purpose and find sustaining motivation.

Skills & Systems

Your child can learn executive functioning skills such as time management, organization, focus control, and task initation by building systems that make sense for their brain.

For Smart Kids with ADHD

- Jennifer Vante

"Cat is one of the only adults that made me feel seen, heard, and understood. She saw something greater in me than I wanted to believe."

Proven Methods

Build a Foundation of Trust

My approach draws on my many years as a successful coach, mentor, and teacher.

As a trained coach, I use questions, motivational interviewing, positive psychology, collaboration, and an action-oriented approach to help young people identify what they want and what's getting in the way.

We co-create custom tools, strategies, and systems that help them live happier, more functional lives at school and home.

As a mentor, I act as a trusted adult in their life who cares about their self-development and will offer them effective accountability.

As an educator, I can teach them ADHD-friendly ways to read, write, study, and take tests, including the ACT.

My methods are based on the latest neuroscience on the young adult brain and my decades of experience working with teens and college students.
